Senior golf scramble

GLADSTONE — The 15th annual Senior two-man scramble takes place July 9 at Terrace Bluff Golf Club for men 50 and up.

Entry fee is $100 per team. Cart reservation is $30 per cart and the trail fee is $5 per private cart.

There will be a shotgun start at noon. Ages 50-70 play the grey tees and those over 71 play the gold tees. Flights will be determined after the first round.

Cash prizes and grilled food will be included. Private coolers and carry-on food or beverage is strictly prohibited. Beverage service will be provided by the club.

Contact the Bluff (428-2343) to enter. Entries can also be mailed to Terrace Bluff Golf Club, 7527 Lake Bluff 19.4 Rd., Gladstone, MI 49837. Deadline to enter is Friday.

two-man scramble

GLADSTONE — The 24th annual Spindler Financial two-man best ball golf tournament takes place July 23rd at Terrace Bluff Golf Club.

There will be 18 holes of championship golf, beverages on the course and grilled food at the turn. Tee times are from 2:30 to 4:15.

Cost is $50 per person and $100 per team.

There will be cash flight prizes, hole-in-one prizes and door prizes.

Contact the Bluff (428-2343) to enter your team. Entrants must be 21 years old and fees must be paid at time of entry.

Gladstone men

GLADSTONE — Wayne Marshall and Steve Bratonia each shot a 67 to lead the Gladstone Golf Club Senior Men 18-hole league Monday. They were followed by Kelly Shea 72, Mark Hagar and Scott Neurohr 74, Dale Hongisto 77, Dan McCarthy 78, and Dick Pepin and Bob Natchaway 79.

Brent Kallio led the 9-hole league with a 36. He was followed by Korey Smith and Rob Rebholz 38 and Tom Gereau 39.
