Richer picks up two feature wins, Ness wins third straight
Rick Ness turns a lap in feature action on June 6, 2026 at Escanaba Motor Speedway.
ESCANABA — Fans got to get up close and personal with their favorite drivers Saturday night as the Escanaba Motor Speedway held its annual Fan Appreciation Night. Fans got a chance to get autographs and talk to their favorite drivers.
In the 600 sprints, Chase Richer picked up his first of two feature wins on the night as he held off Brayden Lundquist who came from fifth on the starting grid to finish second. Tyler may came in third and Bentley Richer and Jayger Quinn rounded out the top five. Chase Richer also won the heat race.
In the 500 sprints, Chase Richer picked up his second feature win as well as a win in heat race action. Nathan Viau had a nice run finishing second and Dalton Gustavson finished third. Macy Degnan and Kristy Karl rounded out the top five. Braxton Lundquist won the other heat race.
In the super mod class, Rick Ness continued with his early season dominance as he won his third feature race in as many weeks. Scott Degnan came in second and won the heat race and Paul Hosking finished third. Drake Degnan and Abi Yelle rounded out the top five.
In the junior sprints class, Keagan Jensen picked up the feature win. Tanner Rae came in second and won the heat race. Colten yelle finished third and Carson Wagner came in fourth substituting for Wyatt Ammel and Aubrianna Mathieson rounded out the top five.
In the vintage mod class, Charles Peterson picked up the heat and feature sweep coming from sixth on the starting grid. Jeff Salomon came in second and Dave Broeders game from seventh on the grid to finish third. Chris Broeders and Wayne Pepin rounded out the top five.
In the street stock class, Carter Gustavson picked up a heat and feature sweep. Paul Wagner came from 11th on the starting grid to finish second as well as a win in heat race action. Brayden Lundquist led the majority of the race but got loose late in the race and finished third, Tom Berzowski came in fourth after starting 12th and Evin Gagne rounded out the top five. Billy Bowden also won a heat race.
In the sport mod class, Bradley Viau picked up a feature win. Rick Gustavson came from 10th on the grid to come in second as well as picking up a heat win. and Evin Gagne came in third. Matt Valiquette came in fourth and won a heat race and Anthony Harper rounded out the top five. Reggie Lantagne won the other heat race.
In the sport compacts, Calvin Stueck picked up the heat and feature sweep. Tanner Olson game in second and Andrew Vandrese came in third. Gerald Lanaville and Brandon Vandrese rounded out the top five.
