KINGSFORD — A Dickinson County resident and several pets died in a house fire after an electric bicycle reportedly exploded inside the home on Tuesday night. Kingsford Public Safety (KPS) was dispatched to 109 Balsam St. at 11:21 p.m. for a report of an explosion. When responders arrived on scene, the residence was an active structure fire, with one victim being reported trapped inside, according to a KPS press release. The victim was later pronounced dead.
