The League of Women Voters of Delta County has published a free non-partisan voter education resource, VOTE411.org.

ESCANABA — The League of Women Voters of Delta County (LWVDC) would like to direct voters to a free non-partisan voter education resource, VOTE411.org. It was created to provide a personalized voting guide that includes up-to-date information voters need to cast their ballot, including who is on the personalized ballot and information about voting early or absentee.

The LWVDC urges voters in Delta County to prepare for the upcoming August 4 Primary Election by visiting Vote411.org to read candidate responses and find their polling place, check voting hours and read tips about voting in Michigan.

The primary ballot will include the following races: Governor, US Senate seat, 1st Congressional seat, 38th State Senate, 108th State Representative, Delta County Road Commission candidates and Masonville Township Trustee. Each candidate was sent a set questions regarding the position they are seeking.

Vote411.org also details local proposals for Fairbanks, Ensign and Bark River Townships, along with the DATA Bus millage.
