Police seek 2 in connection with shooting

INWOOD TOWNSHIP — The Michigan State Police Gladstone Post and Manistique Outpost are actively seeking the whereabouts of Trevor Lee Gault, 33, and his girlfriend Alyssa Jean Arnold, 20, following a shooting in Inwood Township.

Gault currently has an active felony warrant for his arrest for assault with intent to murder from the shooting, which took place in Inwood Township on the evening of Wednesday, June 17. A Manistique resident was shot and critically injured in the incident and was airlifted to Marquette for treatment.

As of Friday afternoon, Gault and Arnold were said to be in an unknown vehicle traveling in an unknown direction. Both are residents of the Manistique area.

Anyone with knowledge of Gault and Arnold’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. As Gault is considered to be armed and dangerous, citizens are warned not to approach him.
