ESCANABA — An undocumented immigrant from Mexico has been arrested in Escanaba by a Sault Ste. Marie Station agent.

According to the U.S. Border Patrol Detroit Sector’s announcement Wednesday morning, the subject was charged in Minnesota with domestic violence, obstruction and felony drug possession in April.

Border patrol has announced additional charges: alien inadmissibility, alien present without admission and immigrant without immigrant visa. The individual is currently being processed for deportation.
