Student-athletes nationwide are divided into three teams — first team for those who achieve a 4.0, second team for those who achieve between 3.80 and 3.99, and third team for those between 3.60 and 3.79.
Dan Harrington (baseball) was the lone Norse to make the first team.
Norse student-athletes on the second team include: Marissa Ackerman (basketball), Jackson Bower (baseball), Jared Crow (baseball), Ernesto Gomez (baseball), Eden Oswald (softball), Haley Trudell (basketball) and Dane VanDenHeuvel (baseball).
Third team honorees from Bay College are: Mike Campbell (baseball), Nicolas Goebert (baseball), Kaitlyn Hardwick (basketball and softball), Morgan Letteriello (softball), Brooke Mannor (basketball), Trish McGuire (basketball) and Carson Shea (baseball).
Each year the NJCAA also names Academic Teams of the Year. Earning a spot on that list from Bay College was the women’s basketball team, which boasted a team GPA of 3.27.
