Child pornography case heads to circuit court

ESCANABA — An Escanaba man was recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court on multiple counts related to child pornography.

Dylan Lee Stevenson, 23, of 825 S. 26th St. #502, Escanaba, was bound over on the following six counts: one count of child sexually abusive material — aggravated possession, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $50,000; one count of computers — using to commit a crime — maximum imprisonment of ten years or more but less than 20 years, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $10,000 and reimbursement to the government for expenses incurred in relation to the violation; one count of child sexually abusive material — possession, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $10,000; two counts of computers — using to commit a crime — maximum imprisonment of four years or more but less than 10 years, a seven-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000 and reimbursement to the government for expenses incurred in relation to the violation; and one count of children — accosting for immoral purposes, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $4,000.

The charges stem from incidents between Sept. 5, 2019 and Sept. 12, 2019. Bond for Stevenson was set at $100,000 cash/surety.
