INWOOD TOWNSHIP — A Manistique resident was critically injured in a shooting Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday, at about 6:12 p.m., troopers from the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post responded to an Inwood Township home after a report of a shooting. An investigation found a Manistique resident was shot and critically injured. The victim was airlifted to Marquette for medical treatment.

The Gladstone Post is seeking Trevor Gault of Manistique for questioning related to the incident. Those with knowledge of Gault’s whereabouts are asked to contact the post at 906-428-4411 or to call 911.

No further information on the incident was being released Thursday morning.
