Esky girls BB camp

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eskymos will be hosting a girls basketball camp for grades 1-9 Monday June 13 through Wednesday June 15.

The camp will be led by coaches Tracy Hudson and Lisa Maki.

Times for each age group are as follows: Grades 7-9 — 8:30-10:00 am, grades 5-6 — 10:00-11:00 am, grades 3-4 — 1:00-2:00 pm and grades 1-2 — 2:00-3:00 pm.

The camp will focus on ball handling, proper shooting, mental preparation, passing, sportsmanship and defense.

Cost to register is 40 dollars and all players will receive a t-shirt.

DCCA golf

ESCANABA — The Delta County Cancer Alliance Golf Outing returns July 14 at the Escanab Country Club.

The shotgun start begins at 11 a.m., and four-person teams may be registered for $100 per person ($400) total.

Registration includes lunch, dinner, cash event prizes and more.

Esky boys BB camp

ESCANABA — The Eskymo Boys Basketball Camp will take place Thursday and Friday at Escanaba High School.

Grades 7-9 will take place Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11:30, and grades 4-6 will begin Friday at 9 a.m. until 11:30.

Registration will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9 before the start of the camp and will cost $20.
