RAPID RIVER — The Rapid River Rockets received multiple softball honors this week after the conclusion of the season.

Pitcher Natalie Belanger and catcher Cecilia Pilon both received All-District, All-Regional and All-State for their respective positions.

Myah Pearson also earned an All-District spot at first base.

Pilon and Pearson were both awarded All-State Academic awards for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or better.

The Rockets also earned an All-State Academic nod for a cumulutive GPA of 3.0 or better.

Rapid River was also awarded the All-District Team Sportsmanship award.

Because of the All-State Awards, Belanger and Pilon will both be invited to play in the MHSCA Senior All-Star game at Jonkers Field at Central Michigan University on July 14th where there will be a presentation ceremony between games and a wooden All-State plaque will be given to them and the other award recipients.
