Highland Three
Woman Tourney
HYDE — The Highland Golf Club has announced that registration is open for their three-woman scramble on Wednesday, July 14th.
Entry fee is $195 per team and includes lunch, prizes and three mulligans. Skins will be available for $15 per team, and carts are available for $30.
Golfers can call the club at 906-466-2791 to register and reserve their spot with a credit card. Registration forms are also available on the Highland website at www.highlandgolfclub.net.
The deadline for signing up is July 12th.

ESCANABA — Registration is now open for the 74th Annual Michigan-Wisconsin Tennis Open which will take place on area tennis courts August 7 and 8.
Entry forms for singles (20 dollars) or doubles (24 dollars per team) can be found online at www.escanaba.org or at the Escanaba Civic Center.
Entry forms must be mailed to the Escanaba Recreation Department, P.O. box 948, Escanaba MI, 49829. Checks must be made payable to Esky Tennis.

Terrace Bluff Men
GLADSTONE — John Nevala shot 37 to lead the Terrace Bluff Monday Night Men’s League this week in Gladstone.
Tom Gereau 38, Chris Veesar 39 and Jeremy Manson 39 were the remaining under 40 scores.
ECC Women
ESCANABA — Barb Scott 41 topped the Escanaba Country Club Women’s League Monday night in Escanaba. Megan Casey and Laura Clifford at 42, Jessica Bray 43 and Cambria Hughes 44 were the rest of the top five.
The under 50 scores were Mary Gauthier and Paula Gustafson at 45, Schendell Leagault and Amanda Bink at 47, Crissy Strom 48, and Kara Pasco, Jenna Skradski, Hadele Peacock, Laurie Johnson, Abbey Strom and Sarah Doyle all at 49.
Oaks Ladies
GLADSTONE — The Irish Oaks Ladies League was led this week by Karen McCorkle, who carded 38.
Holly Canull 39, Rosie Spindler 42, Robin Schwartz 43 and Holly Sundman 44 rounded out the top five.
The rest of the under 50 scores were Debbie Peterson and Jami Pond at 45, Sally Erkkila and Denise Porath at 46, Betty Andrews and Morgan Whitehead 47, Mary Bergman and Amanda Norkoli at 48 and Cheryl Kamin and Joyce Sheedlo at 49.
