Wolves routed by Lake Linden
LAKE LINDEN — It was a tough season-opener for the Carney-Nadeau Wolves here Saturday as they dropped a 46-6 football decision to the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes.
The Lakes led 32-0 after the first quarter of their eight-player debut before Josh Berg got the Wolves on the board on a 20-yard pass from Mike Flanagan early in the second.
Flanagan completed 12-of-24 passes for 210 yards but threw three interceptions.
Brayden Kakuk snagged three aerials for 140 yards and was in on nine tackles.
Flanagan collected seven tackles and a quarterback sack and Juan Maier had seven tackles.
The Wolves resume at Forest Park Friday.
