Ideal conditions have enabled area ice boat enthusiasts to slide across shimmering Little Bay de Noc this week. Four boaters hit the ice Wednesday, which may be the last good day after recent snowfall. The DNR has warned residents to use extreme caution when venturing on the ice because of poor ice conditions in numberous areas.
