Delta County has 1,848 virus cases, 46 deaths

ESCANABA — The Upper Peninsula had 9,577 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 1,537 probable cases, 166 deaths and 28 probable deaths linked to the disease, as of Monday according to state officials.

Delta County had a total of 1,848 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 227 probable cases, 46 deaths, nine probable deaths and Recovered Cases (includes Probable Cases): 829; Menominee County had 979 confirmed cases, 98 probable cases and 11 deaths and Recovered Cases (includes Probable Cases): 501; Schoolcraft County had 147 confirmed cases, 8 probable cases, one death and one probable death.

Elsewhere in the peninsula, Alger County had 126 confirmed cases, 47 probable cases, one death and one probable death ; Baraga County had 278 confirmed cases, 45 probable cases and five deaths; Chippewa County had 237 confirmed cases, 297 probable cases, two deaths; Dickinson County had 1,307 confirmed cases, 52 probable case, 26 deaths nd two probable deaths; Gogebic County had 481 confirmed cases, 167 probable cases, nine death and 10 probable death; Houghton County had 1,077 confirmed cases, 229 probable cases, eight deaths and one probable death; Iron County had 592 confirmed cases, 35 probable cases, 28 deaths and four probable deaths; Keweenaw County had 40 confirmed cases, three probable cases and one death; Luce County had 105 confirmed cases and 37 probable case; Mackinac County had 177 confirmed cases and 44 probable cases; Marquette County had 1,962 confirmed cases, 225 probable cases and 22 deaths; and Ontonagon County had 221 confirmed cases, 23 probable cases and six deaths.
