Upper Peninsula virus cases stand at 112

ESCANABA — The Upper Peninsula had 112 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 15 deaths caused by the virus, according to state officials.

Delta County had 17 confirmed COVID-19 cases and two deaths, Schoolcraft County had four confirmed cases and Menominee County had eight confirmed cases.

Elsewhere in the peninsula, Baraga County had one confirmed case, Chippewa County had two cases, Dickinson County had five cases and two deaths, Gogebic County had five cases and one death, Houghton County had five cases, Luce County had three cases, Mackinac County had eight cases and Marquette County had 54 cases and 10 deaths.

Across the state, 56,014 cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed and 5,372 deaths had been reported.
