ESCANABA — The Catherine Bonifas Civic Center will be opening for the season on Friday, January 21. The ice rink is located behind the Catherine Bonifas Civic Center at 225 North 21st Street.

Parking is located on the west side. There will be benches available and the rink will be lighted. Free skate rentals can be checked out at the civic center from Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Skates can be checked out for 48 hours.

There will be a hockey area and figure skating area.

Unfortunately, due to COVID, the Civic Center will not be available for skaters.
