GLADSTONE — Community Foundation for Delta County Board of Trustees Member Mr. Nick Chenier, along with the Board Chair, Mr. Charles Becker and Board Member, Mrs. Kristen MacArthur present a check in the amount of $5623.40 from Dr. Mary L. Cretens Fund, a fund held at the Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula, to the Gladstone Area Schools Public Library Member, Judy Wyckoff, President, Ms. Peggy Ritche and Treasurer, Ms. Maggie Smith.

An avid reader, Dr. Cretens was a frequent visitor to the Gladstone Area Schools Public Library. She had a great interest in many subjects and made reading and learning a lifelong quest.

Dr. Cretens was an outstanding citizen of Gladstone and much of her philanthropy is directed to her hometown.
