ESCANABA — County Road 426 aka “M.5 Road” between US Highway 2/41/M-35 and County Road 416 (20th Road), and a portion of County Road 426 (between County Road 416 20th Rd and County Road 414 18th Rd) will be closed for a large, extensive culvert replacement. Closure will start Monday, Aug. 3, at approximately 7 a.m. The road is expected to be back open sometime Wednesday, Aug. 5.

Motorists are asked to use an alternative route.
