ESCANABA — Chris Lundin recently presented a check in the amount of $5,000 to Captain Doug Winters of the Salvation Army for their food pantry in Escanaba.
The Larry and Chris Lundin Endowment Fund is held by the Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula.
“It is my pleasure to present the Salvation Army funds on behalf of my late husband, Larry, and myself. The work they do and the people they help to ensure food insecurities are met is incredible,” commented Lundin.
Captain Winters said, “The funds we received from the Larry and Chris Lundin Endowed Fund, as well as support from the Community Foundation for Delta County and other donors, is critical to the success of the Food Pantry and helping those in need of food. We are extremely grateful.”
