STONINGTON — A blessing of quilts was held by Pastor Melissa Salminen at Trinity Lutheran Church of Stonington on Sunday, June 7. Members of the group meet weekly on Monday mornings to design and assemble the quilts. They are donated to individuals in need and community organizations.

This year’s quilts have been donated to community members and an assisted living facility in Gladstone.
