Escanaba man dies after May crash
CEDAR RIVER — An Escanaba man injured in a two-vehicle crash in Cedar River this May recently died of his injuries.
On May 24, troopers from the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post responded to a two-vehicle collision on M-35 in Cedar River. One of the occupants injured in the crash was Brett Pearson, 24, of Escanaba.
In a press release, it was stated that Pearson had succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, July 18. He was at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw at the time of his death.
The crash remains under investigation, and the incident will be reviewed by the Menominee County Prosecutor once the investigation is finished.
