Escanaba schools posts changes in food distribution system

ESCANABA — Escanaba schools is changing how it distributes food on Tuesdays. Here is the information you need to know:

– Food will continue to be distributed every Tuesday in June.

– Hours of distribution have changed to summer hours, 12 – 2 p.m.

– If you are not available during these times, you may send someone in your place.

– Food will no longer be delivered to cars, instead, please enter the high school building to pick food up.

– Please park in the west parking lot.

– Enter through the west doors, where you will be guided through the process.

– Carts and assistance are available if needed.

The food available for pickup will be: one bag of meals (five breakfast and five lunch) per child, one half-gallon of white milk and one half-gallon of chocolate milk per child, and one box of fresh fruits and vegetables per family.
