ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court in unrelated cases.
Shawn Patrick Writt, 32, of Delta County Correctional Facility, 2800 College Ave., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – meth. He was sentenced to a minimum of 36 months to a maximum of 20 years in prison, and credited for 209 days already served. Writt was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.
Rachel Peige Frazho, 27, of 314 N. 11th St., Apt. 2, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules one, two and three – except marijuana, meth, ecstasy and cocaine). She was sentenced to two months in jail and credited for one day already served. Frazho’s driver’s license will be suspended 30 days and restricted 150 days.
She will be placed on probation for 24 months. Frazho must successfully complete drug/sobriety court and all its requirements, including any costs associated with it. She was ordered pay $1,088 in fines and costs.
Elizabeth Jeanne Miehlke, 40, of 621 Minnesota Ave., Gladstone, pleaded no contest to two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing. She was sentenced to 10 months in jail and credited for 197 days already served. She will be placed on probation for 24 months. She was ordered to pay $1,216 in fines and costs.
Peggy Sue Jensen, 54, of 605 Dakota Ave., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to one count of larceny in a building. She was sentenced to six months in jail and credited for 92 days already served. She will be placed on probation for 18 months. Jensen was ordered to pay $1,028 in fines and costs.
Jeffrey Jay Willette, 45, of 910 1st Ave. N., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act – second offense notice. He was sentenced to 239 days in jail and credited for 239 days already served. Willette was ordered to pay $698 in fines and costs.
Jeffrey Ronald Fleury, 34, of 6188 County Road 420 21st Road, Gladstone, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted contractor – fraudulent use of building contract fund. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail and credited for one day already served. Work release was granted in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Delta County Correctional Facility. Fleury will be placed on probation for 36 months. He was ordered to pay $14,000 in restitution and $768 in fines and costs.
