Cases bound over to circuit court

ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Justine Marie Jones, 33, of 315 S. 9th St., Escanaba, was bound over on the following counts: one count of jails – furnishing contraband to prisoners, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $1,000 and one count of controlled substance – possession of meth, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $15,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on July 11, 2019 in Delta County. The bond was set at $50,000.

Elizabeth Jeanne Miehlke, 39, of 621 Minnesota Ave., Gladstone, was bound over on the following counts: two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000 and one count of assault or assault and battery, a 93-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Aug. 11, 2019 in Gladstone. The bond was set at $1,000 cash.

Miranda Ronna Wilson, 27, of 400 S. 12th St., Escanaba, was bound over on two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on March 17, 2019 in Escanaba. Wilson was released on a $1,000 persona recognizance bond.
