Chamber Annual Dinner celebrates Delta County

ESCANABA — It’s time to celebrate the accomplishments of the community at the Delta Chamber’s Oktoberfest-themed Annual Dinner.

Members of the Delta County Chamber of Commerce will gather on Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Island Resort and Casino for one of the best networking events of the year. The celebration starts at 5:30 with a social hour followed by dinner and the awards program at 6:30.

This is our opportunity to celebrate Delta County. It’s a perfect time for us to get together and show how much we appreciate the incredible amount of work and dedication that our members have put forth to make our waterfront community a great place to live, work and visit.

Area businesses and community members will be recognized during the awards program for the following categories: Business of the Year, Educational Excellence, Business Partner of the Year, Community Ambassador, Century and Philanthropy Awards, and Outstanding Delta Force Alum. The prestigious Athena Award will also be presented this year. It is truly an honor to give recognition to those that make Delta County special. This is our opportunity to give businesses and individuals in our community the credit they richly deserve.

The Annual Dinner gives us a chance to not only look back on a year of accomplishments of Delta County but to also look forward to upcoming events and activities planned for 2023.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the night will include dinner, the installation of the 2023 Chamber Board of Directors, musical entertainment, and the graduation of the Delta Force Class of 2022.

Tickets for the Delta Chamber Annual Dinner are $40 and available online at deltami.org or the Commerce Center at 1001 North Lincoln Road in Escanaba. The event is co-sponsored by Upper Peninsula Michigan Works, OSF Healthcare, and the Island Resort & Casino.
