L&C Enterprises-USA announces transition of leadership
Kevin Sodermark has assumed the role of president and owner of L&C Enterprises USA, Delta Fence & Construction.
ESCANABA – L&C Enterprises-USA, a leading manufacturer in the fencing industry, is proud to announce the transition of leadership to Kevin Sodermark, who has assumed the role of president and owner of L&C Enterprises-USA, Delta Fence & Construction.
Sodermark succeeds Ron Chouinard, the company’s founder, who announced his retirement in 2025. This leadership transition comes at a time of continued growth and expansion for the Upper Michigan based manufacturing company.
Sodermark has been with L&C Enterprises-USA since 2013 and most recently served as vice president. Prior to that role, he worked as foreman for Delta Fence & Construction, L&C’s local fencing business. During the company’s growth, Sodermark played a key role in leading major facility expansion and driving manufacturing success across the company’s fence tie product lines.
Most notably, he was instrumental in securing the addition of a third, four slide machine, significantly increasing production of Easy Twist Ties and T-Post Ties. This investment has provided L&C with added flexibility to manage the growing demand for the variety of popular Easy Twist Fence Ties they produce.
L&C Enterprises-USA Foreman Allen Nault added, “The demand for Easy Twist Ties has been great. Even our vinyl fence ties have seen a decent spike in production and sales.”
“Kevin has a track record as a proven decision maker with strong professional fencing sales skills,” said Ron Chouinard, founder and original owner of L&C Enterprises-USA. “He brings a unique business vision and the ability to solve problems quickly. His commitment to positioning L&C’s fence tie products will be beneficial to the continued success of the company.”
Chouinard continues, “I firmly believe both L&C and Delta Fence businesses are in the right hands moving forward.”
Sodermark shared his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “The part of my job I enjoy most is making sure all the moving parts are working toward the same goals. We’ve experienced record fence tie sales over the past two years, which has made it an exciting challenge to keep pace with demand while balancing building expansion, equipment investments, and the hiring and training of new staff.” He added, “In 2025, we completed a facility expansion, and with our current and projected fence tie sales, we may soon need additional space to meet demand.”
Sodermark concluded with a smile, saying, “That’s a good problem to have.”
