ESCANABA — Highline, a high-speed internet service provider in Michigan, is celebrating the activation of its 500th customer. Highline began offering service in October of 2021 and this milestone demonstrates Highline’s commitment to help resolve the broadband service issues in rural Michigan. Stacy Hare, who received her Highline fiber to the home connection on July 13, 2022 said, “Highline’s service is lightning fast at an amazing price. We are thrilled to finally have a real Internet connection from a company that cares about its customers.”

Highline is aggressively building a 6,000+ mile fiber network to serve nearly 100,000 households from a combination of Rural Digital Opportunity Program funding as well as private investment.

“We are thrilled to reach this customer milestone considering when we started and having to wait for winter to end in our markets to restart new installations,” stated CEO of Highline Midwest, Bruce Moore. “Highline is making a significant difference for our new customers and communities who have long suffered with poor Internet access.”
