Cemetery stops collecting for sale
ESCANABA — Lakeview Cemetery is no longer accepting donations to sell in their 17th Annual Rummage Sale. The cemetery thanks the public for the overwhelming response.
The rummage sale will be held in the Cemetery Chapel, located at 2110 3rd Ave. S., Friday, Aug. 28, from 3 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 29, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Holy Name Class of 1960 reunion canceled
ESCANABA — The informal gathering of the Holy Name Class of 1960 planned for Friday, Aug. 7 has been canceled due to the pandemic. Plans are underway for a reunion next year. Call 786-3415 for further information.
