Bay women take down North Central Michigan College

ESCANABA — The Bay College women's game against North Central Michigan College (NCMC) was never in doubt as the Norse rolled to a 96-38 victory here Wednesday. Bay College sophomore Mckenzie Hoffmeyer scored a layup and Lauren Zawada drove to the basket for the basket and a foul and converted the free throw. Hoffmeyer took the ball on a nice drive thru the lane for a layup to put the Norse up 7-2. Hoffmeyer led the way for the Norse with 25 points, eight steals and six rebounds. Modeltowners defeat Eskymos in non-conference action

ESCANABA — It was a tough night on the court for Escanaba girls basketball as they fell 50-28 to Gwinn in non-conference action here Monday night. Makayla Dalmont led the way for the Modeltowners with 21 points and Daena Demars added nine points in the victory. Gwinn raced out to a 13-0 lead after one quarter of play and extended that lead to 25-7 at the half. Escanaba was led in scoring by Aubrey Mylander with 11 points and Landry Bray added nine.
