EDITOR: Every time I think the Delta County Board of Commissioners cannot possibly do anything more outrageous, they prove me wrong. The meeting of July 18 was yet another example of why three of our sitting commissioners need to go. EDITOR: In response to LeeAnne Oman of the Delta County Republican Committee dated 7/20/23, I have some thoughts and opinions. The irony of this statement I hope is not lost on me. “Traditionally, in a civil society, the loser of contest is not allowed destroy the winner. EDITOR: Dear Delta County Community voters, A few disappointed election losers are attempting to recall three Delta County commissioners, for doing their jobs. After she spoke to all of them in an extremely disrespectful tone during a public meeting, the board had no choice but to terminate her employment, as any sensible, functioning board would have done. EDITOR: Many have grown tired of political organizations pounding a narrative that is not true. I suppose they believe if something is continually displayed, people will eventually believe the lie. For several years we have been inundated with commercials and not-so-subtle messages displayed on football helmets and basketball uniforms.
