Maroons cruise to win over Broncos

BARK RIVER — It was a tough night on the softball diamond for the Bark River-Harris Broncos here Monday as they fell to the Menominee Maroons 21-5 in a non-conference game. The first inning offered a sign of things to come as the Maroons cashed in on three errors and Arianna Johnson’s three-run homer for a 5-0 lead. “They timed our pitching pretty good and hit the ball hard,” BR-H coach Rob Ardnt said. “We told the girls that’s where our standard needs to get to.
