ESCANABA — Members of the Escanaba Speedway along with drivers and fans got together on Saturday to celebrate the end of the 2024 racing season at Highland Golf Club.

The drivers and fans got a chance to meet the speedway’s new board of directors as well as see the drivers rewarded for their season efforts.

“We had a good 2024 season,” said outgoing president Kaitlyn Maki. “We had a lot of close points battles this season and I’m excited to see what the new board of directors will bring in 2025.”

The evening also included a dinner and bucket raffles and the opportunity for fans to meet with their favorite drivers outside of nightly racing.

The new board members for 2025 are president Amy Gagne, vice president Steve Rose, secretary Cathy Winling and treasurer Amy Lantagne. Harvey Lewis, Reggie Lantagne and Matt Valiquette were elected to the board as members at large.

The board of directors has begun working on the 2025 racing schedule and that will be available on the Escanaba Speedway website and Facebook in the near future.

Starting at $3.50/week.
