RAPID RIVER –Monday’s Skyline Central Conference matchup saw Carney Nadeau best Rapid River 63-57 Monday at Rapid River High School.

The Wolves (1-2) were led offensively by junior Sam Salo, who accumulated a game-best 17 points. Senior Logan Johnson added 16 points. Senior Kayden Street earned 12 points. Senior Ken Peters amassed 10 points. Freshman Beau Maule had six points. Junior Elijah Tillman and freshman Cullen Kasbohm finished with two points each.

The Wolves hosts Felch North Dickinson at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The Rockets (0-3) were led offensively by two seniors. Myles Anderson finished with 12 points and a team-best nine rebounds to go with two blocks and a steal while Blake Lundquist added 12 points with a team-best eight assists to go with three boards and a pair of steals.

Junior Ethan Harrison added eight points, eight boards and an assist. Junior Eddie Forslund earned eight points, seven boards, two blocks, an assists and a steal. Junior Clay Christoff earned three points, two rebounds and two steals. Senior Everett Belanger added four boards and two points. Senior Tucker Carlson finished with two points, two boards, one helper and one steal.

The Rockets host North Central at 7 p.m. Thursday.
