BB camp

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eskymos will be hosting a girls basketball camp for grades 1-9 Monday June 13 through Wednesday June 15.

The camp will be led by coaches Tracy Hudson and Lisa Maki.

Times for each age group are as follows: Grades 7-9 — 8:30-10:00 am, grades 5-6 — 10:00-11:00 am, grades 3-4 — 1:00-2:00 pm and grades 1-2 — 2:00-3:00 pm.

The camp will focus on ball handling, proper shooting, mental preparation, passing, sportsmanship and defense.

Cost to register is 40 dollars and all players will receive a t-shirt.

ESCANABA — The Delta County Cancer Alliance Golf Outing returns July 14 at the Escanab Country Club.

The shotgun start begins at 11 a.m., and four-person teams may be registered for $100 per person ($400) total.

Registration includes lunch, dinner, cash event prizes and more.

Ryder Cup

ESCANABA — Registration has opened for the 2-woman Ryder Cup tournament June 8 at the Highland Golf Club.

The tourney features three modes of play: six holes of scramble, six holes of alternating and six holes of lowest score between partners.

Entry fee is $100 per team. The fee includes breakfast, lunch and prizes.

3-Man Scramble

NAHMA — The Nahma Golf Club 3-Man Scramble will be held June 11 with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.

The format is a 27 hole scramble flighted after the first 18.
