ESCANABA – The successful start to the 2022 boys tennis season continued for the Escanaba Eskymos as they defeated the Munising Mustangs Friday in a shutout victory.

The Eskymos went 8-0 in singles and doubles action against the Mustangs with Gunnar Dlugas leading the singles charge with a win at No. 1 (6-0, 6-0) over Munisings Taylor Borowski.

The pairing of Isaac Maki and Dawon Williams earned another win (6-1, 6-0) in 2022 at No. 1 doubles against Munisings Lucas Westcomb and Alex VanZandt to head up doubles competition.

The Eskymos return to action today as they head to Kingsford to face the Flivvers.
