Gladstone eighth grader Trevor Thorbahn earned a first place finish in Kalamazoo March 27 at the Myway State Championship.

Thorbahn, wrestling at 145 pounds, won the title over Kaden Sizemore 13-4. He also defeated three others on his way to the championship match (Blake Bossenberger, Wesley Sutton, Adoniah Delgado).

Thorbahn was also awarded Eighth Grade Wrestler of the Year.
