GAASTRA — West Iron hosted the annual George Young Invitational girls golf tournament Tuesday at George Young Recreational Complex in Gaastra. North Central and Forest Park joined the Wykons in the event.

Sarah Snyder was the lone golfer for North Central, carding a 117.

Madison Berutti of West Iron finished sixth with a team-high 112. Teammate Kia Dallavalle carded a 114, followed by Ava Richardson with a 135 and Harlie Melstrom came in with a 146.

Rayven Jacobson shot a 131 to lead the Lady Trojans, while Paige Mianecki shot a 133 for FP. Beth Nocerini carded a 146, Lily Reinke a 150 and Macy Johnson a 157 to round out the Trojans lineup on the day.

Rylie Koskinen of Baraga was medalist with a 91, while Rachel Niskanen of Negaunee was runner-up with a 93.

Jillian Koski of Westwood carded a 98, Ella Menigoz of Ontonagon shot a 100 and Laci Moffatt of Westwood shot a 104 to round out the top five.
