EDITOR: I am Aaron Deiter, a proud citizen of Escanaba, active community member and volunteer. I support and endorse KelliVan Ginhovenfor Delta County commissioner, District 4, for two main reasons. EDITOR: Some of you may not remember when we had a representative in Congress who actually cared about Yoopers. Men from either party who, once in Washington, never forgot whom they represented. Men of the caliber of Stupak, Ruppe, and others who shared our concerns as they shared our unique part of the state. Annual Life Chain returns

EDITOR: Again, this year, Delta County Right to Life is sponsoring the annual Life Chain this coming Sunday, October 2. It will be held on North Lincoln Road, Escanaba, between Burger King and Taco Bell. This is a prayerful, peaceful event where pro-lifers of all ages line up along the route on each side of Lincoln Road with signs promoting the value of life at all stages. EDITOR: Matthew Peltin, Letter to the Editor, Saturday, Sept. 24. I also despise the fact that the democrat party wants so many illegals into this country. It is beyond understanding. I thought the Martha's Vineyard scenario brought it to more people. I still think you would have to look long and hard to find a lot of people in this area who know anything about the border, which brings me to my other point, marijuana. It was on the ballot. EDITOR: Surveillance cameras to protect flowers - really? The streets throughout the city are beyond bad. We have an old logging road behind our home that's easier to ride on then the Escanaba city streets. Governor Whitmer ran on fixing the roads, give her a call. Oh ya, she had a million-dollar lottery for people who got the COVID shot. She must be out of money. Beautifying the city for three months, try to fixing the streets that we can enjoy year around.
