Column was enlightening work
This week’s bouquets go to:
From David and Carol Carlson of Wells:
We thank Baylie Bullington for her enlightening column she wrote in the Daily Press Business section of Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 newspaper. What can we learn form 150 year old church, a land surveyor and the human spirit? Our daughter and son- in-law own the original Brotherton property south of Escanaba on the Michigan lakeshore. Our son just moved the last original cabin from the property to a site on a hill in the Flat Rock/Cornell area to restore. Our family will cherish these memos and piece of history you have given us to share with others in your news column.
Each Saturday the Daily Press salutes individuals and groups from our area who have had a very positive impact on the way we live.
We identify our bouquet recipients in one of two ways: from Daily Press news pages and from nominations sent in by our readers.
Mail us a postcard or letter identifying your nomination and putting into detail what they’ve done. Include your name, address, and phone number. Send nominations to Saturday Bouquets, The Daily Press, 600 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.
They may also be sent to us by going to our Web site, www.dailypress.net, and c
