DAGGETT — The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) has reported the death of a 23-year-old farm worker from Daggett.

On Saturday, June 6, a farm worker was transporting newborn livestock approximately two miles from one farm location to another on a county road with an off-road vehicle. While attempting to turn at an intersection, the vehicle rolled and pinned the victim to the ground.

This is the 16th Michigan worker death of 2026 reported to the MIOSHA.
