Miners Falls, located northeast of Munising, was flowing strong this weekend, offering visitors a spectacular view of one of the area’s most popular natural attractions. Fed by the Miners River, the waterfall plunges approximately 50 feet over a sandstone outcrop before continuing downstream through the forest.
Visitors can reach the falls via a 1.25-mile self-guided interpretive trail that features scenic views along the way. At the end of the trail, 77 steps lead down to a viewing platform overlooking the cascading waterfall.
For viewers’ safety and to help protect the natural environment, please remain on the paved trail. Pets are not permitted on this trail.
To locate the scenic attraction, take H58 to Miners Castle Rd., then follow the signs.
