Progress outside City Hall
At the corner of Ludington Street and North Fifth Street in Escanaba on Wednesday, Arrow Constructions' (from left to right) co-owner Phil Scheiding and employees Chad Carlson, Nick Costantino and Jason Mac stamp fresh concrete outside City Hall with a pattern resembling stone tiles. The Arrow crew, who had to hose down some of the imprinting material when they got dirt on them, said that it was challenging to work around obstructions like utility poles and signs, and that the chemical agent keeping the stamp mats from sticking to the concrete was drying quickly in the sun.
