History Day Camp returns to lighthouse
ESCANABA — History Day Camp at Sand Point Lighthouse returns for grades 2, 3 and 4. Thursday, August 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The campers will take a journey into a 19th Century child’s life in early Escanaba featuring:
– Authentic school books and antique toys.
– Explore a child’s life at the Sand Point Lighthouse and participate in a scavenger hunt.
– Enjoy a personal guided tour of the museum.
– A 19th Century box lunch will be provided.
Registration for this History Day Camp are available at the Delta County Historical Society Museum and Sand Point Lighthouse during operational hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information call Ellie at 906-789-9034.
