Socks 4 Troops campaign successful

Shoe Sensation held its Socks 4 Troops campaign from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31. People could either purchase socks in store (with discount) or bring in unworn socks. Last year, 346 pairs were collected. That increased to 3,006 pairs this year. “We would like to send out a humble ‘thank you’ to all who helped make this a very successful campaign,” said Marge Derkos, store manager. Derkos is shown with Jeffrey Ware, Gladstone Bays de Noc Lions Club transporter.
