A crowd listens to Jamie Fisher, the main speaker at Saturday morning’s End the Silence, a depression awareness and suicide prevention walk. She discussed the impact of her teenage son dying of suicide in 2020. The event was held at the Ludington Park Pavilion in Escanaba at the end of National Suicide Prevention Week. A large crowd braved the rain to take part in the event and walk.
