Two arrested after meth raid

STANTON TOWNSHIP — The Houghton County Sheriffs Office arrested two men after finding crystal meth during a search. More arrests are expected.

On Jan. 25, deputies executed a search warrant on a residence located on Superior View Road in Stanton Township. A substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine was located and seized.

Deputies arrested two men, ages 31 and 34. The 31-year-old man was a Michigan Department of Correction parole absconder and was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine. The 34-year-old man was arrested for a bond violation. Both men were lodged at the Houghton County Jail. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected,
