Residents and tourists alike are invited to visit this unique indoor/outdoor homestead museum that focuses on the commercial fishing history of the West Shore of Green Bay. Admission is free, and donations are welcome. Hours of the museum are 1 to 4 p.m. central time or by appointment. Leashed dogs are welcome.

This year, an extensive photo timeline has been added to the new Williams-Ruleau Visitor Center along with accompanying artifacts. The site offers visitors a chance to step back into history with experiences for all ages and interests.

The West Shore Fishing Museum is the restored home and fishery of Charles Bailey, who operated one of the area’s largest commercial fishing operations on the site from 1893 to 1950. The museum also includes two authentic display buildings, seven fishing vessels in two pavilions, a mile of wooded and shore trails, gardens and grounds and a vintage gift shop.
