MANISTIQUE — Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital has recently expanded COVID-19 testing capacities so the hospital can test any individual in our community regardless of symptoms or exposures.

If you meet the criteria for priority testing, contact the hospital’s triage nurse at 906-341-3200 ext. 1837. All appointments are scheduled and results are returned within 24 hours.

The hospital is offering a community drive-through testing for community members who:

– Do not have symptoms

– Have had low risk exposures

– Have an employer requesting a test for mild symptoms or exposures

– Need to travel and require documentation of a negative test.

A testing form and patient education and instructions self-collection using nasal swabs and directions are available at https://scmh.org/testing-options-at-schoolcraft-memorial-hospital/ If you are unable to print the form and fill it out ahead of time, forms will be provided at the test site. One form must be completed for each person in the vehicle receiving a test.
