ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.

Tyler Anthony Wright, 23, of 13631 Netherwood St., Southgate, Mich., pleaded guilty to a count of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to three months jail and given credit for three days served, to be held in abeyance until the end of probation. Wright’s driver’s license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and he was ordered to pay $50 in fines and costs.

Roy David Lacarte, Jr., 41, of 6690 P Road, Gladstone, pleaded guilty to a count of attempted weapons — firearms — possession by felon. He was sentenced to six months jail and placed on probation for 12 months; the sentence was deferred to the end of probation. Lacarte was ordered to pay $1,208 in fines and costs.

Robert John Pearson, 53, of 7142 K.5 Lane, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance — delivery/manufacture (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic), less than 50 grams and a count of controlled substance — possession of meth/ecstasy. He was sentenced to 11 months jail and given credit for 209 days served on both counts, to be served concurrently with a prison sentence. Pearson’s driver’s license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and he was ordered to pay $326 in fines and costs.

Robert John Pearson, 53, of 7142 K.5 Lane, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance — possession of meth/ecstasy and a count of weapons — carrying concealed. He was sentenced to a minimum of one year, five months and a maximum of 10 years in prison on the first count and a minimum of one year, five months and a maximum of five years in prison on the second count, and was given credit for 202 days served, to be served concurrently with a jail sentence. Pearson was ordered to pay $266 in fines and costs.
